STEM Week in Primary 2
Primary 2 had great fun taking part in a range of STEM activities. We had a range of activities which children rotated around. These included building a bridge, building a tall tower, designing a trophy and sunglasses using different materials, designing a rollercoaster for a marble, programming BeeBot, making a path for the mouse and programming it to go around it and the favourite activity, designing and making a boat that would float while carrying a cargo of 2p. We also did 2 whole class experiments. The celery experiment, where we added food colouring to water and put the celery in and left it to see what happened (it cleared the water of colour 😮 ) and a bread experiment to see what lives on us.
