Pat came to P5 to teach us about the water cycle and how precious our water is. He also explained how Northern Ireland Water clean our water before it reaches our house and how they clean it after it leaves our houses. We learned that oil, fats, grease, wipes and ear buds should not be flushed down the toilet as even flushable wipes contain microplastics which end up in the sea.
