Integration: Our parents have voted in favour of transforming our school to Integrated status from September 2026, subject to approval by the Education Minister.
P5 had a great day representing countries in Europe today, learning the Spanish names for different fruit as well as greeting each other in French. Mrs Powell became a pupil as she was taught how to say ‘Good morning!’ (properly) in Ukrainian, Shona, Lithuanian, Bengali and Romanian.
We also made flags of our chosen countries, learnt a little bit about Ukraine and expanded internationally as a couple of children told us a little about their home countries of Bangledesh and Zimbabwe. We finished the day playing a hoop game and Danish Longball. Well done everyone!
