This year we went to "School at the Sea" in Ballygally for our class trip. We had a "Roald Dahl Experience" Day. We had four sessions throughout the day - A lesson on advertising by Willy Wonka, an outdoor experience which involved planting onions, making a Mr Twit beard garden and collecting ingredients for George's Marvellous Medicine, a session with a real, live illustrator who taught us how to draw in the style of Quentin Blake, and finally a series of science experiments and art activities, including creating whizzpopper pictures and making our very own dream catchers! After a very busy day, we returned to school to watch the BFG movie.
