In February we read Roald Dahl's story 'George's Marvellous Medicine'. Then we decided to each make our own marvellous medicine! The children had to think about who their medicine would be for and what would happen to that person or animal if they ever drank the medicine! The children created their medicines during 'Activity Based Learning' time, there were some weird and wonderful ingredients included! We then learnt about advertising and persuasive writing during literacy. The children used their knowledge to create an eye-catching label for their medicine.
