P3 were so excited to visit Daniel, the Post Office Manager and some of the post workers at Larne Post Office. We walked down to the Post Office wearing our hi vis jackets to keep us safe on the journey.
When we arrived we were introduced to Daniel, the Post Office manager, and the other post workers, though most of the post workers were out on their rounds delivering letters. We saw where the post was sorted and Daniel explain how it is sorted into all the delivery areas in Larne. Some of us saw the slot for our own houses and we all saw our school slot! We also visited Daniel's office and the staff areas where they can relax, have meetings via Royal Mail TV and get something to eat. We are now looking forward to having a visit from our school postlady and a Daddy who is a postman. We have prepared lots of questions for them!
