P2 Trip to School at the Sea
Primary 2 had a great day at School at the Sea. We were told all about the work carried out by RNLI, the boats they used and the clothes they had to wear. We also learned about how to stay safe at the seaside. After this we went to the beach to learn about James Shaw and how he came from Scotland to build Ballygally Castle. We then had the chance to build our own castles and participate in games. We also had the opportunity to learn about pollution in the sea and the effect this has on sea life. We danced like sea creatures and made our own ocean scenes. To finish of our fun day we sang 'sea songs'. A great day was had by all.
