Primary 2 have been learning about measuring. We hunted for things that were longer and shorter than our measuring worms. We also used different things to measure the length of objects in our classroom. We used our hands, our feet, cubes and straws. We talked about how some answers were different because we had different sized feet and hands. We also learnt about weight. We looked at 2 objects and guessed which would be the heaviest. Then we checked by putting them on the scales. We learnt that the heavier item went down lower. We also got a change to weigh items in cubes. It has been lots of fun learning about measuring and weighing.
