We had our first P.E. Dance and Movement session this week and focused on windy weather and falling leaves - a bit like some of our recent weather!
In this session the boys and girls showed through their movements the different types of weather on an Autumn day. They stretched upwards in the sunshine, shivered in the chilly wind, worked with a partner to grow as a tree, then spun around slowly, like the leaves falling. They then danced quickly around the space, as though they were the rolling leaves being carried by the wind. Finally, they put the moves they had learnt together to create a longer dance sequence. 🍂
