Autumn Dance in P.E.
As part of the P.E. Curriculum, we explore types of dance. This week we explored ‘expressive dance’ and were very creative and had good fun!
Through our movements, we showed the different types of weather on an Autumn day. We stretched upwards in the sunshine, shivered in the chilly wind, worked with a partner to grow as a tree, then spun around slowly, like the leaves falling. We then danced quickly around the spaces, as though we were the rolling leaves being carried by the wind. Next week, we will put the moves we have learnt together to create a longer dance sequence.
What a lot of teamwork! We are looking forward to finishing off next week. 🍂 🌬
