We had a lovely morning spent with Francesca from AMH. She was in to give us a workshop on ‘Little Healthy Me’.
It was very interactive and all the children listened and participated so well! 👏🏻⭐️ We heard how important it is to look after our healthy minds as well as our healthy bodies.
We listened to two stories ‘Lucy’s Blue Day’ and ‘Ruby’s Worry’. We danced to music and played a few games. Francesca showed us how to make a mind jar and a toolbox.
P1 also practiced 6 different types of breathing that could help us when we are not feeling ourselves. Rainbow, rollercoaster, balloon, dragon, bee and birthday cake breaths. Can they remember these at home?! We also spoke about who we can talk to at home and in school if we ever have any worries.
The children were given a workbook and a pencil which they can complete at their leisure at home.
