Mrs McCallion came to visit us in P1. She told us all about her important job as Crossing Patrol. We heard all about her uniform, what she does and why. P1 then went to the playground and pretended to cross the road safely. When we returned to the classroom, we drew a picture to take home!
It was so much fun!
Mrs Ross taught us a rhyme to help us remember how to cross the street carefully.
”Stop, look and listen, before you cross the street. Always use your eyes and ears before you use your feet.”
